For 11 months, from March 2018 to February 2019, ADRA Ukraine implemented the project “Delivery of water in barrels” with the financial support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

During the project 2,376,540 liters of drinking water were delivered to settlements along the contact line.

To receive the feedback on the project and assess the existing needs of the people, together with representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we visited the Maryinsky Central District Hospital in Krasnohorivka, Maryinsky District House of Culture and checkpoint in Maryinka, where ADRA Ukraine delivered drinking water.

Residents of both cities thanked for the assistance provided during the project. “Every day people came here to get drinking water for themselves and their families, ” shared Olena*, hospital employee.
