Psychologist at ADRA Ukraine helped children in Krasiliv city feel safe
On June 4, in the city of Krasiliv in the Khmelnitsky region, an informative and entertaining game “Kraina Zdorovia” (EN: Country of Health) was held for children living in conditions of war. The event was organized by members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from the cities: Starokostyantyniv and Krasiliv.
ADRA Ukraine psychologist Olena Nynyk joined the initiative. As part of the project, implemented with the support of the Swedish charitable organization Radiohjälpen and ADRA Sweden, she conducted express consultations for the children of the Krasiliv community. Children also performed simple exercises on self-regulation – effective tools that help to calm down, feel the inner support and gradually restore their own resources.
Thanks to this work, it was possible to create a safe space where warmth, trust and support reign – a place where, despite the war, children can remain just children.
