  • She/he will be working with the program management team to recruit PSS trainers to provide psychosocial support services for Ukrainian IDPs.
  • In coordination with PSS coaches, develop awareness and guidance publications for targeting IDP population.
  • In cooperation with, PSS Trainers and Case Managers conducting training/consultations workshop for targeted population about planning and implementation of structured recreational activities oriented to provide psycho-social support etc.
  • Follow up the daily work of PSS Trainers working at the project.
  • Responsible/overview for ensuring the provision of psychosocial support activities, potential leisure activities and sport activities taking into account needs, desires and abilities of both males and females within the age group.
  • Make the local community more aware of the objectives of the counseling and the role of providing psychosocial support activities through organizing regular meetings with the IDP families.
  • Maintain necessary official records and files to document his/her work firsthand with confidentiality and privacy as an indicator for his performance.
  • Maintain a permanent and continuous coordination with PSS designated staff/contractors.
  • Ensure the Child protection Policy commitment.
  • Manage scheduling, attendance, performance and payment of all volunteers in coordination with ADRA Ukraine program management team.
  • Provide immediate supervisor with detailed weekly report including all data, activities and events that have been carried out during the whole week.
  • Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities.


• This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.

• PSS Coordinator desirable has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education or any related field.

• Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian, Russian and English.

• Sensitivity and understanding of targeted population, psychosocial and livelihoods issues and ability to build trust and collaboration with program participants, partners, stakeholders and other staff members.

• Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively.

• Prior experience in conducting training workshops.

• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office applications.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
