Duties and responsibilities of the Psychologist:

  • Determination of individual and group requests of IDPs in the center;
  • Implementation of planning activities for individual and group work with IDPs, drawing up schedules and formats of interaction (individual psychological consultations, trainings, lectures, etc.);
  • Carrying out individual and group counseling, carrying out activities aimed at improving the psychological state of IDPs;
  • Report all relevant information about psychological conditions of concern; provide counseling regarding the need for counseling before seeking psychiatric help;
  • Collect, process, analyze the results obtained during the performance of duties according to the established methodology, observing the rules of confidentiality;
  • Participate in the development and dissemination of educational materials for IDPs;
  • Write daily, scheduled and unscheduled reports on the performance of assigned duties;
  • To participate in work meetings, meetings on organizational issues, issues related to the implementation of project tasks, strengthening of professional skills;
  • To participate in the measures taken to prevent emotional burnout.

Qualification requirements for the candidate:

1. Higher education in psychology;

2. Work experience in the specialty for more than 5 years

General requirements:

• Experience of individual consultations and support

• Skills in working with groups in support group formats

• Knowledge and experience of group facilitation

• Competences and experience in creating, organizing and conducting trainings

• Experience and willingness to work with internally displaced persons

• Psychodiagnostic skills, including clinical

• Competencies and work experience in crisis counseling

• Fluency in spoken Russian and Ukrainian languages
