When a child is looking forward to the next class, this is probably one of the best indicators of what they are really interested in.

For three months, the charity organization Save Ukraine has been implementing a program of classes on robotics and 3D modeling for children. In September, the ADRA Kids project joined this initiative and supported one month of classes, thanks to which 22 children were able to continue their studies for free, get acquainted with modern technologies and acquire new practical skills.

For children, this is much more than just learning. In classes, they get to know each other, communicate, work together, create their own projects, learn to find solutions and see the results of their work. Robotics and 3D modeling provide an opportunity to experiment, develop logical and spatial thinking, fantasize and turn one’s own ideas into something real.

And such classes help to switch from daily tension and worries. Children immerse themselves in a process that fascinates them, receive positive emotions, communicate with peers and simply remain children — inquisitive, active and open to new things.

Parents’ feedback became especially valuable for the team. It was important for them to know that in their city there is an opportunity for children to gain modern knowledge, develop and spend time with benefit for free. For many families, additional classes today are a significant financial burden, so the opportunity to join such a program for free is of particular importance.

And the best review — is the children themselves. They run to classes with great pleasure, wait for the next meetings and talk with interest about what they have already learned to do.

And this story continues. The organizers plan to develop the direction of robotics and 3D modeling in the future. Children are already looking forward to new classes, and new participants want to join the program.
