ADRA Ukraine held an event with gifts in Irpin for the children of the dead and missing
In the city of Irpin, Kyiv region, in the Irpin center «Veteranskyi prostir» (EN: Ex-combatant’s space), a creative master class was held for children who have lost their parents due to the front or went missing. In a warm, almost family atmosphere, ten children painted honey gingerbread — concentratedly, with imagination and sincere smiles. After the event organized by ADRA Ukraine as part of the ADRA Kids project, each child received a gift from the organization — to a pleasant end to that bright day.
As the project employees note:
«Every painted gingerbread has become a small manifestation of joy, creativity and children’s hope. Such moments give children a sense of security, attention and support, show that they are not alone, that there are people nearby who care about their fate. ADRA Ukraine sincerely thanks everyone, thanks to whose donors this event became possible. Your support turns into concrete good deeds, into children’s smiles, into the belief that care and humanity have power. Each contribution — is not just a help, it is a contribution to the future, to the feeling that together we can do more».
