In the modular town of «Dubky» in the city of Irpin, that located in Kyiv region, the ADRA Ukraine team held a creative master class «New Year’s postcard», after which the children received festive gifts. The event took place within the framework of the ADRA Kids project for 10 children aged 6 to 14 who live with their families in a modular town.

All participants are children from among internally displaced persons. They were forced to leave their homes due to the war, moving from occupied territories, front-line cities and regions where active hostilities continue.

During the masterclass, children created New Year’s postcards with their own hands, putting their dreams, good wishes and holiday mood into them. The event was held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, full of children’s laughter, joy and a sense of celebration, which is especially lacking in children in difficult life circumstances.

At the end of the meeting, each child received a gift from ADRA Ukraine. However, the most valuable thing for them was not only gifts, but also attention, support and positive emotions that help to feel care, safety and faith in goodness.

The ADRA Ukraine team continues to support children and families affected by the war, creating a space for them to enjoy joy, creativity and emotional recovery.

We express our sincere thanks to everyone who supported the charity cause with donations. You can join the fundraising for the ADRA Kids project at the link.
