2,500 evacuated people will receive financial assistance: ADRA Ukraine is expanding support through the transit center in Lozova
The ADRA Ukraine team continues to expand support for people who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities. As part of the new project, which is being implemented with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF), cash assistance under the UCT2 program is planned to be provided to 2,500 evacuated people.

The project started on May 1, 2026 and will last until April 30, 2027. Since the beginning of its implementation, more than 200 people who passed through the Transit Center in Lozova, Kharkiv region, have received financial support.

In order for assistance to be available even to those who cannot complete the processing of documents immediately after evacuation, ADRA Ukraine uses two methods of registering — directly at the transit center and remotely through its own call center. This allows people to submit the necessary documents already after leaving the center and receive payments in a timely manner.

It was to coordinate this work that a team of ADRA Ukraine field workers visited the Transit Center in Lozova. During the meeting with representatives of the Coordination Humanitarian Center, the parties discussed further cooperation, the mechanism for transferring information about potential recipients of aid, in particular self-evacuated people, as well as further coordination of humanitarian support.

During the visit, the team also got acquainted with the work of the transit center, the conditions of stay of the evacuees and the process of their verification.
