ADRA Ukraine continues to support educational institutions with modern energy solutions
On May 6, ADRA Ukraine handed over modern hybrid inverters with battery units to educational institutions in the Kyiv region that suffered from the occupation in 2022 and intense hostilities. The aid was provided with the assistance of ADRA Sweden and with the donor support of Radiohjälpen (RadioAid, Sweden) and ADRA International within the framework of the «Saving Lives, Preserving Warmth in Ukraine: emergency assistance with heating in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions through mobile energy solutions».
The facilities are located in some of the most affected areas of the region, including Bucha/Hostomel, Irpin and Borodianka settlements. All of them have an urgent need for reliable alternative energy sources. Each of the locations received a 6 kW DEYE SUN-6K-SG05LP1-EU-AM2-P hybrid inverter with three DEYE SE-G5.1Pro-B battery packs.
This equipment will allow establishments to remain connected to the power grid even during power outages for up to 24 hours, ensuring uninterrupted access to electricity and heating. Importantly, the system does not require fuel, which reduces operating costs, and it can also be connected to solar panels if institutions decide to install them in the future.
Thanks to this help, it will be possible to create safe and comfortable conditions for the education and stay of children and teachers even in the difficult conditions of the current military situation in Ukraine.
