Within the framework of the project, with the support of ADRA Sweden, the delivery of vacuum therapy devices and consumables for wound treatment was completed. In total, seven apparatuses were distributed for Kherson hospitals and one for Chernivtsi city hospital for a total amount of UAH 623,497.

In connection with active hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, more and more people with severe wounds or burns are admitted to hospitals. Thanks to vacuum apparatuses, the rehabilitation process of patients is significantly accelerated, the wound is cleaned efficiently, and there is no need for frequent dressing changes.

Since it is practically impossible to purchase this medical equipment in Ukraine, the help received has become extremely important, especially in conditions of martial law.
