Within the framework of the project, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany and ADRA Germany, sets of warm clothes have been distributed to internally displaced persons living in Poltava and Odesa. The sets that included sleeping bags, warm blankets, thermoses and flashlights, were provided to the most vulnerable categories of people, including people with disabilities and their guardians, mothers/fathers raising children on their own, and the elderly.
The distribution of sets is carried out with the support of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. In total, 406 people will receive assistance in the form of warm clothes according to previously formed lists.
The project also includes such directions of assistance as: provision of financial assistance, provision of funds for the rent of housing, provision of equipment and insulation of shelters, transportation assistance (evacuation and social transportation), provision of psychological support and legal assistance, as well as non-food assistance.
