During this week food aid project has been implemented in several directions. In particular, with the support of ADRA Network project, 1,280 families of IDPs from Luhansk region have received food kits. 26 pallets of food for 2,000 people have been sent to Poltava for IDPs from all over the country. In addition, due to the emergency food aid project supported by WFP and ADRA Ukraine, volunteers have distributed 369,000 loaves of bread and provided food to about 9,000 people.

One of ADRA Ukraine’s current projects is project on provision of micro-grants to those organizations or institutions that have initiated their own humanitarian aid projects. At present, benefactors are already actively implementing 15 grant projects aimed at supporting population in the most affected and hard-to-reach regions or helping those who have left these regions. Their activities include medical services, evacuation, collective centers and shelters for displaced persons, psychological and other types of assistance.

In the framework of the Project “Hope for Ukraine”, with the support of ADRA Ukraine and “Nadiya” TV channel, emergency food aid project has been launched for residents of Kherson. Despite the difficult situation in the temporarily occupied territory, volunteers have already made the first distribution of food kits for Kherson residents. Residents of Kyiv, Chernihiv and other regions also continue to receive assistance.

There are several projects aimed at evacuating citizens from hotspots. As of today:
– with the support of ADRA Czech Republic about 1,800 people have been evacuated from dangerous areas;
– about 1,500 people have already received assistance through the project on social transport and evacuation supported by UHF;
– Evacuation under the Project “Hope for Ukraine” continues, about 4,000 have been evacuated.
