Residents of a shelter in Ivano-Frankivsk region received free legal aid from ADRA Ukraine
On 13 February, Yevhen Strashko, a lawyer of ADRA Ukraine, visited the Caritas shelter in Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, where he provided legal advice to the residents of the shelter – IDPs forced to leave their homes and fled the war zone. In addition, the lawyer was approached by community members who had heard about the consultations from Caritas. In total, the specialist provided 26 consultations for 19 people.
The consultations concerned the following issues: termination of a land plot (share) lease agreement; registration of a child’s place of residence without the father’s consent; the procedure for contesting paternity; the procedure for restoring a taxpayer identification number; establishing facts of legal significance; restoring title documents for housing, etc.
Legal aid was provided to the residents of the shelter within the framework of the project supported by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and Aktion Deutschland Hilft, thanks to the cooperation between Caritas in Nadvirna and ADRA Ukraine.
