The project on provision of emergency food assistance with the support of the World Food Program of the United Nations (World Food Program) that covers the most vulnerable regions of Ukraine, primarily the frontline and hard-to-reach areas is ongoing.

Last week, the distribution of food certificates for residents of settlements in Sumy region, including Sumy, Hlukhiv, Shostka, Romny, Konotop, Trostianets, Lebedyn, Bilopilla and Krasnopilla, was completed. Assistance in the form of 61,992 certificates (each worth UAH 500) was received by more than 10,000 residents of Sumy region.

ADRA Ukraine team expresses its sincere gratitude to the Sumy Regional Employment Center for its assistance in the implementation of the event.
Over the entire time of the project that has been operating for more than 9 months, more than 200,729 certificates have been distributed to 55,968 people in two regions (Chernihiv and Sumy).

In addition, a total of 1,897,000 food kits, 14,988,459 loaves of bread, 1,789,269 kits of general purpose, 160,687 basic necessities kits, and 179,233 baby food kits have been distributed in various regions of the country.

The opening of the next registration for receiving emergency food assistance will be notified additionally. Currently there is NO registration. Please, follow the news on our website and official pages on Facebook, Instagram.
