The charitable organization ADRA Ukraine presented its projects at the 14th Civil Society Forum “(with) STAND,” which took place on December 5 in Kyiv. Among the highlights were the ADRA Kids project, which supports children affected by the war, as well as a book publication featuring real-life stories of psychological assistance. The event was organized by the Initiative Center to Support Social Action “Ednannia,” with financial backing from the governments of European Union countries, along with other international partners and donors. This year’s Forum was dedicated to every Ukrainian — both by nationality and by inner vocation.

Representatives of ADRA Ukraine took part in the Forum alongside partners from Health360. Together with their team of psychologists, ADRA Ukraine published the book named “Choose Life”, which gathers personal stories of people affected by the war and describes their experience of receiving psychological support. The head of the psychological service, Anna Matviienko, introduced the publication during the “Mental Health Space” session. Attendees learned that everyone who purchases the book is simultaneously supporting the ADRA Kids project, which provides New Year gifts and other assistance to children, including children of ex-combatants.

ADRA Ukraine’s work was also showcased at an exhibition hosted at one of the Forum’s locations. Participating organizations had the opportunity to present their activities, exchange experience and achievements, establish new contacts, and explore potential partnerships. For ADRA Ukraine, this event became an opportunity to raise greater awareness about its mission, demonstrate project results, and outline possibilities for collaboration.
