Every day, ADRA Ukraine records dozens of stories of people who had to start their lives anew after the start of a full-scale war. Many people have lost their jobs and are in need of basic food assistance, but unfortunately there are also many people who have lost their homes and all the dreams for the future that came with it.

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany and ADRA Germany, we have helped those who are starting over in a new place.

Within the framework of the project, 159 people (58 households) who were forced to move to Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions have received financial assistance for housing rent. Among them are 55 families from Mariupol, 2 families from Luhansk region and one family from Kherson.

Depending on the region and the number of family members, the total amount of payments amounted to UAH 3,679,500.

Registration for assistance within the framework of the project took place with the help of the fund “Ya – Mariupol”. ADRA Ukraine expresses sincere gratitude to the fund for fruitful cooperation in helping people in need.
