The UN WFP delegation visited the distribution of aid in the village of Studenok
On September 24, in the village of Studenok, which is part of the Oskil community of the Kharkiv region, ADRA Ukraine employees organized the issuance of food kits from the UN World Food Programme with the support of ADRA Switzerland. In total, 210 people from among vulnerable categories of the population received assistance.
The distribution was attended by a delegation from the UN World Food Programme — representatives of the head office and the field office in the city of Dnipro. On the part of ADRA Ukraine, the head of the UN WFP project Maryna Potekha and the regional coordinator in the Kharkiv region Serhii Fedoryachenko were present.
A delegation of donors arrived directly at the location to see with their own eyes how the distribution process is happening: from informing the population and delivering kits to the distribution itself. During the visit, representatives of the UN WFP also spoke with the head of the military administration of the Oskil community and the head of the village of Studenok.
Maryna Potekha presented in detail the algorithm of the humanitarian mission, and the military administration talked about the situation in the community, in particular about evacuation measures and escalation on the front line.
