The project team, with the support of the UN World Food Program (WFP), was one of the first to start providing humanitarian aid and distributing food kits to people in need in Kherson and the right-bank part of Kherson region immediately after the liberation of these settlements. Currently, the situation in this region is extremely dangerous, almost every day Kherson comes under fire from the left bank of the Dnipro.

In order to prepare a team of volunteers for possible emergency situations, quick response to injuries and wounds, the project management has purchased individual first-aid kits with all the necessary means to provide assistance in critical situations in accordance with international standards. The organization of practical training in pre-medical care in wartime conditions is also planned. The trainings are conducted by professional instructors of the training center for tactical medicine “Koleso”. Volunteers learn how to quickly and correctly apply a tourniquet, recognize critical bleeding, tamponate a wound, apply a pressure bandage, and learn other techniques that can help save lives.
