The UN Coordinator in Ukraine resigns, ADRA Ukraine thanks her for cooperation
In the Khakiv office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA Ukraine) on July 10, representatives of Ukrainian humanitarian organizations met with Denise Brown, the UN Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine. The meeting was a farewell as Denise Brown leaves this position. On this day, representatives of the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine also communicated with the coordinator. The representative of a project, which provides assistance to people in need in Kharkiv region, thanked her for supporting Ukraine and her great job. There were discussions about further plans to assist the victims of war.
D. Brown during the period of her work visited many representatives of local authorities, military administrations in those regions where humanitarian assistance is especially needed. During the meeting in Kharkiv, she thanked the charitable organizations for their selfless work. She also asked the partners what should be transferred to the new coordinator, who will take the post instead of her. Most of the meeting participant spoke about the need to continue supporting the country and volunteer activities, there was a request to the world community to close the sky over Ukraine to protect people from bombing.
