Evacuation of civilians from dangerous regions is one of the areas of assistance of ADRA Ukraine, including a current project of social transportation and evacuation with the support of UHF (Ukraine Humanitarian Fund that operates within the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs).
Due to this project, ADRA staff have evacuated about 1,500 civilians to safer places during the last month, including people with disabilities, large families and other vulnerable people.

The project fulfills two main tasks:
– providing assistance to the population concerning evacuation;
– providing population of “isolated” (deprived of access to transportation and infrastructure) settlements/places of concentration of refugees with access to vital infrastructure – medical institutions, banks, shops (markets) and others.

This project is implemented in three areas:
Northeast, East: Kharkiv, Luhansk, northern Donetsk region.

Southeast: south of Donetsk region, Dnipropetrovsk region

South: Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson regions.
