With the support of ADRA Slovakia in Chernivtsi region and in several settlements of Ivano-Frankivsk region from 5 to 14 June distribution of family kits for IDPs was held. 1,320 kits have been distributed, covering more than 2,000 people in 25 settlements. Volunteers have provided assistance to people with disabilities and people of retirement age in their accommodation centers because these people were not able to go to the distribution points.

Within the framework of the project “Hope for Ukraine”, with the support of ADRA Ukraine and “Nadiya” TV channel, the restoration of doors damaged by fighting as well as provision of building materials for reconstruction of houses in some settlements go on. About 150 doors have been restored so far, in particular in such cities as Bucha and Hostomel.  Residents of such villages as Palanka, Synytsia and Rozsishky in Cherkasy region have received assistance in the form of 59 cash certificates for purchase of building materials for the restoration of houses.

The microgrant project implemented by ADRA Ukraine with the support of ADRA Japan and ADRA Korea is coming to an end. Donors have received 68 applications from various organizations and selected 15 most interesting projects. Charitable activities have covered more than 6,000 people in eight regions of Ukraine. The following types of assistance have been provided: food, shelter, reconstruction of damaged houses, repair of centers for internally displaced persons, medical services, consultations with psychologists, distribution of food and non-food products, evacuation.

The project on social transportation is underway. ADRA Ukraine project staff in cooperation with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund facilitates transportation of cancer patients abroad for treatment. In cooperation with colleagues from the humanitarian organization “Helping to Leave”, Lyphoma Coalition and the National Cancer Institute, cancer patients have been comfortably transported from Dnipro and Vinnytsia to Lviv with the help of transportation of ADRA Ukraine. From there they plan to transport them abroad.

Today, within the framework of ADRA Ukraine project that is implemented in cooperation with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, there are 28 social routes on a permanent basis, covering 113 settlements in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.
