This week, registration for one of the projects of financial assistance for vulnerable groups who found themselves in a crisis situation because of the war in Ukraine has started. Residents of the occupied territories or those where active hostilities are taking place will be able to receive financial assistance from ADRA Ukraine. The project applies to residents of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as other occupied territories at the time of the project implementation. The DANIDA project provides psychological assistance and support. A group program of psychological support for adults and children took place in Kyiv on June 5. The event was held in the form of thematic leisure. It was attended by more than 200 people, including IDPs and residents of the capital. The program for adults included psychological trainings and the program for children included workshops and various games.

On June 7, distribution of supplemented general food aid kits was organized in Irpin under a project supported by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) and ADRA Ukraine. A total of 900 sets were distributed. The event was attended by representatives of humanitarian organizations such as WFP and ADRA Ukraine. Currently, under the project, distribution of various kinds of food aid kits is taking place in eight regions of Ukraine.

The implementation of the social transportation project goes on. On May 31, 2022, the first trip of the social transportation of ADRA Ukraine, realized in cooperation with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, took place in Illinivska community of Donetsk region. Three social routes that unite settlements of the community with its center (Illinivka village) have started operating in the community.

This week, 250 families of IDPs living in one of neighborhoods of Chernivtsi have received food aid in the form of food and hygiene kits with the support of ADRA Slovakia. In total, more than 7,920 families in Ukraine have already received this type of food assistance.
