Within the framework of the project of emergency food aid to the affected population of Ukraine that is actively implemented with the support of the UN World Food Program (WFP) and ADRA Ukraine, volunteers have distributed 310,717 loaves of bread, more than 60 tons of food aid and 376 food kits. In particular, the distribution of food kits took place in Odesa in the presence of representatives of humanitarian organizations of WFP, ADRA Ukraine, as well as TV channels “Nadiya”, CNL and others.

Every day the distribution of bread covers residents of Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Odessa, Zaporizhzhia regions. Assistance is provided to city administrations, social centers, hospitals, accommodation centers and volunteer centers.

Mykolaiv and Kyiv regions have received assistance in the form of pasta and sunflower oil.

“Hope for Ukraine” Project with the support of ADRA Ukraine and “Nadiya” TV channel that covers several areas at once, continues to provide humanitarian aid in the form of food, hygiene means, medicines and clothing. People are being evacuated from hotspots to safer places.

This week, more than 100 IDPs in Kropyvnytskyi and Kirovohrad regions have received assistance. Volunteers have also provided humanitarian aid to IDPs from Kharkiv who now live in Khmelnytskyi. Several settlements in Kyiv region have also joined the project where assistance to families with children, the elderly and people with disabilities is rarely provided.

Residents of one of the villages of Kharkiv region that is located 5 km from the contact line have received assistance in the form of 122 food packages and psychological support.

Evacuation of people from hot spots goes on. This week, due to the joint efforts of several current ADRA Ukraine projects, the number of evacuees has reached 10,000.
