Food kits are being distributed in cooperation with ADRA Slovakia. Last week, IDPs from hot spots and occupied territories of the country living in Novoselivka village, Poltava region, have received food assistance from ADRA Ukraine, including food kits with the support of ADRA Slovakia. In Kharkiv region, humanitarian kits have been delivered to a shelter for elderly people thanks to joint efforts of local public organizations and with the support of Marek Štefan, an authorized Ambassador of Slovakia to Ukraine. These humanitarian kits consist of food and personal hygiene items.
In general, since the beginning of the project, thanks to the assistance of ADRA Slovakia, about 69,960 people in need have already received such assistance.

Within the framework of the psychological direction, several projects are implemented at once: in particular, ADRA Ukraine project with the assistance of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) and LEAP project with the assistance of the Canadian government. Psychological support activities cover Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Donetsk and Kyiv regions. Assistance includes individual psychological counseling and social-psychological support, group trainings and lectures. Volunteers receive knowledge on how to overcome fear, anxiety, depressed mood, panic attacks, and how to cope with stress during wartime.

In October, within the framework of the project with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO), ADRA Ukraine launched free social transportation in four communities of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In particular, on October 17, social routes were opened in Apostolivska and Zelenodol communities of Kryvorizka district of Dnipropetrovsk region. The population of these two territorial communities totals about forty thousand residents.
As of today, there are nine social routes operating in Apostolivska and Zelenodol communities that cover 18 settlements.
