In Zakarpattia and Chernivtsi regions on October 11 and 12, food kits were distributed thanks to the support of ADRA Slovakia. Now many IDPs from hot spots and occupied territories of the country live here, in particular, from Kharkiv, Mariupol, Kramatorsk and other cities. Thanks to the prompt interaction of employees of the Ukrainian and Slovak representative offices of ADRA, volunteers have helped about 1,560 people. Among the number of those who received assistance are internally displaced persons with disabilities who were left without homes and currently live in a social shelter in Chernivtsi.

A seminar-workshop for IDPs from different regions of Ukraine was held in Vinnytsia on October 9, it took place within the psychological direction of LEAP project. More than 40 people attended the event. They discussed issues relevant for today: “How to achieve a resource state in the conditions of the war” and “Where to find strength for personal life and how to help others.” The seminar was conducted by Olena Nynyk, a qualified psychologist of the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine. She not only shared useful information, but also used art therapy practices, transformational games, etc. Those present got to know each other better, felt support and care for themselves, and shared their own thoughts and experiences during this difficult time.

In October, ADRA Ukraine received a certificate from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for a significant contribution to strengthening the spirituality of the Ukrainian people, active educational, charitable and volunteer activities.
The team of the charitable organization expressed gratitude for the honor and the opportunity to serve people in this difficult time. We continue to carry out its activities every day so that as many people as possible can get help that they so desperately need.
