Kharkiv Youth Public Organization “Kharkivskyi tsentr volonteriv” has received one of the micro-grants within ADRA Ukraine project together with ADRA Japan and ADRA Korea.
During the entire period of implementation of this project, more than 6,000 people in 8 regions of Ukraine have received assistance through various organizations. Due to the microgrant for Kharkiv Volunteer Center, more than 1,200 people from crisis social categories in Kharkiv region have joined this figure. The regional headquarters have provided operational assistance to vulnerable groups of Kharkiv region in the form of food, medicine, household goods, etc.

Here are the following categories of people who have received assistance: IDPs and locals, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, large families, pregnant women, orphans, single mothers, people without access to income to meet basic needs. In addition to Kharkiv, the organization has worked in several communities in the region: Zolochiv, Merefa; in such towns as Kolomak, Slobozhanske, Piatnytske, Piatygorske, Vysokyi; in such villages as Utkivka, Novi Ozeriany, Litovky, Myroshnykivka, Borova, Tsyrkuny.

The regional headquarters of operational volunteer assistance created during the project in the conditions of war accept inquiries from vulnerable categories of the population, solve organizational and transport issues, issues of purchase of necessary goods for provision of assistance. In addition, this headquarters organize field volunteer missions, provide pieces of advice to the population, provide psychological and legal assistance and more.

At present, assistance to vulnerable groups in Kharkiv and the region continues being provided under several ADRA Ukraine projects. Please, follow the current information on the official website.
