For more than nine months, the emergency food assistance project has been actively implemented with the support of the UN World Food Program. The activity covered 12 regions of Ukraine, including hard-to-reach settlements of regions located on the demarcation line. Luhansk region is one of them.

Last week, ADRA Ukraine volunteers with the support of the UN World Food Program finally provided food assistance to the residents of Nevskyi settlement in Luhansk region, where shelling continues and a large number of residential buildings have been destroyed.
Thanks to the prompt work of the team, despite the difficult situation and difficulties, residents have received 280 food kits of general purpose weighing 12.5 kg and 215 loaves of fresh bread.
According to Volodymyr, a Coordinator, people were very happy and thanked for food products that were very necessary for them.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Luhansk Regional State Administration in the person of Haidai Serhii Volodymyrovych for their assistance in the organization and distribution of food kits.

Since the beginning of the project, residents of Luhansk region have received assistance as IDPs in other regions and within the framework of cooperation with the Luhansk Regional State Administration, a total of 100,191 food kits have been distributed.

Over 1,897,000 food kits and about 14,000,000 loaves of bread have been distributed throughout project implementation in various regions of the country.
