Since the beginning of the war, people with disabilities have become even more vulnerable, so they need even more help. Olha and her husband live in Ternopil, both have the first group of disabilities.
The woman says that someone close to them gave their address to the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine because with the start of a full-scale war, their acquaintances understood what challenges a family can face when two people have disabilities.
Soon, volunteers of the organization contacted the family and handed over not only food kits, but also new wheelchairs which facilitated movement and simplified the family’s life.
Olha and her husband are very grateful to ADRA for such a project for people with disabilities and for the fact that they were heard and received such vital help.
