The Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center received an ambulance from ADRA Ukraine
The charitable organization ADRA Ukraine transferred a specialized medical car of the Mercedes brand to the communal non-profit enterprise named the Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center of the Mykolaiv Regional Council. The act of transfer of the car took place on April 3 at the head office of ADRA Ukraine in Kyiv.
Previously, this vehicle was used to evacuate people with disabilities within the “LEAP” project (Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection) with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada. In December 2024, the management of the Mykolaiv Regional Oncology Center asked ADRA Ukraine to help with providing an ambulance. Since the “LEAP” project was completed by that time (it lasted from June 2022 to June 2024), the charity decided to transfer this car to the oncology center. Now, the car will be used to serve people with disabilities, palliative cancer patients in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
