IDPs from the front-line regions of Kharkiv region received food kits from the UN WFP
At the Coordination Humanitarian Center of Kharkiv, the ADRA Ukraine team distributed 142 ready-to-eat kits (MREs) from the UN World Food Programme for internally displaced persons. This assistance to residents who evacuated from the front-line territories of the Kharkiv region was provided with the support of ADRA Switzerland.

The Coordination Humanitarian Center of Kharkiv is one of the key points of support for people who leave dangerous areas of the region due to hostilities. Upon arrival, displaced persons are registered as internally displaced persons and receive the necessary humanitarian assistance.

Ready-to-eat kits allow for basic needs of people in the first days after evacuation, when they especially need support and time to adapt to a new place of life.
