Social transportation is active within the evacuation direction of assistance. The first trips of social transportation from ADRA Ukraine, organized in cooperation with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, have taken place in the Shyrokiv community of Zaporizhzhia region. Due to social transportation, residents of remote settlements can receive medical, social and administrative services. Free social trips take place twice a week, every Tuesday and every Thursday. In the near future, social transportation will be available in other areas.

Children of IDPs in Zakarpattia region have received assistance from ADRA Ukraine with the support of UNICEF. Kindergartens and schools have received primary care kits, hygiene kits and kits for early development and educational materials. Delivery of hygiene kits to places of temporary residence of IDPs is also provided within the framework of the project.

ADRA Ukraine continues to work in the field of medical care. The “Mobile Clinic”, organized by “Angelia” Clinic in Kyiv, is implemented by ADRA Ukraine within the framework of the microgrant project with the support of ADRA Japan. To date, the team of the “Mobile Clinic” has provided more than 895 medical services for 450 people in Chernivtsi and Kyiv regions in eight settlements. These services include services of doctors, tests, diagnostics of various areas, prescription and provision of drugs, carrying out of simple medical manipulations and others.

Within the framework of the project of emergency food aid to the affected population of Ukraine with the support of the UN World Food Program (WFP), another area of assistance has been launched – provision of baby food to children from 6 to 23 months. Assistance has already been received in Sumy, Odesa, Chernihiv. The distribution goes on. Volunteers are also distributing essential kits. During the implementation of the project, 2,529,597 loaves of bread, 358 tons of food and 11,741 supplemented general food kits have been distributed.
