ADRA Ukraine has completed the delivery of solid fuel for vulnerable communities in the front-line regions
In November, the ADRA Ukraine team additionally provided residents of two more communities of the Chernihiv district of the Chernihiv region with RUF fuel briquettes. This region suffered significant destruction of energy infrastructure this year and needed operational support. A further 68 vulnerable households, including large families, persons with disabilities and internally displaced persons, received assistance. The resulting briquettes will help families prepare for the winter season.
Assistance is provided within the framework of the MHWP project, which is implemented with the support of the Government of Canada and ADRA Canada. Within the scope of the project:
– financial support for the purchase of solid fuel in the Chernihiv region;
– provision of psychological and psychosocial support in six protection centres;
– provision of fuel briquettes to vulnerable households and 17 collective IDP residence centers in front-line regions.
