Andrii Khozhev, project manager of the MHWP project, implemented by the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine, took part in a meeting of the working group of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) in city of Chernihiv. Participants of the meeting, which took place on September 30, discussed the humanitarian situation in the region, current challenges, and the priority needs of Chernihiv region residents.
After the meeting, the OCHA delegation, led by Deputy Head Cynthia Viveros Cano, conducted a monitoring visit to communities where humanitarian initiatives are being implemented. One of the places monitored was a community where ADRA Ukraine distributed fuel briquettes.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the local council, social workers, and residents who had already received assistance and started using the fuel to prepare for winter.
