ADRA Ukraine Takes Part in WFP’s Annual Partnership Consultation in Rome
On November 6–7, 2025, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) held its Annual Partnership Consultation (APC) in Rome under the theme “Navigating Winds of Change.” The event brought together more than 200 partners from around the world. ADRA Ukraine was represented by Program Director Maryna Savchuk.
All participants of the meeting are partners who are the first to respond to crises, seeing the needs directly within communities and acting quickly and effectively. Among them were both in-person and online participants, emphasizing the global scale of cooperation and the importance of investing in local partners to ensure flexibility, trust, and sustainability in humanitarian assistance.
During the event, participants discussed key humanitarian topics — transforming approaches to crisis response, strengthening localization, and developing partnerships focused on long-term resilience.
Today, the world is at a turning point: humanitarian needs are growing faster than resources, and challenges are becoming increasingly complex. In these circumstances, solidarity, partnership, and shared responsibility for helping people affected by crises and conflicts take on special significance.
For ADRA Ukraine, participation in such meetings is not only an opportunity to exchange experience and best practices but also a reaffirmation of a shared vision: helping people is, above all, a partnership built on trust and collaboration.
