An FPV drone attacked an ADRA Ukraine humanitarian bus: the driver managed to leave the cabin
On September 14, near Myroliubivka village in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an FPV drone attacked an ADRA Ukraine bus that provides humanitarian transportation for residents of the Kherson region. At the time of the attack, there were no passengers in the cabin.
The driver noticed the approach of the FPV drone and managed to quickly leave the bus. The drone exploded next to the vehicle. As a result of the explosion, the driver received a slight concussion.
There was no direct hit on the bus, but the blast wave and debris damaged the vehicle: windows were broken and part of the body was deformed, and the paintwork was damaged.
The bus transported residents of the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Kherson region to Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region). Thanks to such trips, people can get to the necessary institutions and services, including medical facilities, banks and post offices.
Humanitarian transportation is carried out within the framework of the REACT project, the routes of which cover the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The project is implemented with the support of Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH).
