Evacuation of civilians from dangerous regions is one of the areas of assistance of ADRA Ukraine among which the project on social transportation and evacuation financed by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund is actively implemented.
Evacuation of civilians from dangerous regions is one of the areas of assistance of ADRA Ukraine among which the project on social transportation and evacuation financed by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund is actively implemented.
According to Maksym Pihan, a Project Manager, the team promptly offered an activity such as evacuation in addition to social transportation. As soon as it was agreed, a relevant activity was launched.
Due to this project, ADRA staff have evaluated more than 3,000 civilians to safer places, including people with disabilities, large families and other vulnerable people.
The project has two main tasks:
– provision of assistance to the population in evacuation;
– provision of “isolated” settlements with access to vital infrastructure.
The Project on Social Transportation and Evacuation funded by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund goes on. THE PROJECT of social transport and evacuation financed by the HUMANITARIAN FUND FOR UKRAINE continues.
Today, 40 social routes operate. And about 15000 people have used services of our carriers, and this number is constantly increasing.
