ADRA Ukraine and the CLAN Foundation join forces to support children of war heroes
The charitable organization ADRA Ukraine together with the charitable foundation of the sports club “CLAN” (head Serhiy Skoropadsky) signed a memorandum of cooperation. This partnership will strengthen the implementation of the project “Children of Heroes,” aimed at psychological rehabilitation of children affected by the war. In particular, the program supports children whose parents were killed or injured during the fighting. Now the project will receive support from ADRA Ukraine, which will scale its activities.
The “CLAN” network of sports clubs is actively working in Rivne and Kyiv regions, and the club’s charitable foundation has helped 850 children undergo free psychological rehabilitation programs since 2022. One of the key initiatives is a monthly leadership school that teaches children to overcome challenges and develop their skills. In addition, some program participants receive financial support for education, which gives them the opportunity to build the future through difficult circumstances.
In the near future, the CLAN Foundation plans to expand its activities and reach 500 children with help in five cities: Irpin, Bucha, Rivne, Dubno and Mlyniv. This will be the next step in providing support and rehabilitation for children experiencing the consequences of the war.
