ADRA Ukraine has evacuated persons with disabilities from Dnipro to Uman
The charitable organization continues to provide transport assistance to residents of Ukraine who need to move to safer regions. Thanks to specialized transport, ADRA Ukraine is able to transport people with reduced mobility, including people with disabilities or serious illnesses.
Thus, within the scope of this direction, people with disabilities who were evacuated from Dnipro to Uman, Cherkasy region, have received assistance. During this trip, an ambulance was used as well as a specialized bus that allows to transport people in wheelchairs.
The assistance has been provided within the framework of Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection (LEAP) project with the support of the Canadian government, as well as the project with the support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ADRA Germany.
