ADRA Ukraine has handed over three generators for the needs of the Zelenodol community of Dnipropetrovsk region
The organization continues to provide equipment for heating and electricity to communities that have suffered significant infrastructure damage due to regular shelling.
With the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs/OCHA Ukraine), ADRA Ukraine employees have delivered and handed over three 5.5 kW single-phase diesel generators to the Zelenodol local council of Dnipropetrovsk region. These generators will be used for heating points and to support the operation of the pumping station.
There is a drinking water preparation station and two sewage pumping stations that serve the city on the territory of Zelenodolsk. In the event of a power outage, the operation of the equipment at these facilities will stop, as a result of which residents of settlements of the community may be left without heat and water, where these life support systems are still functioning.
The project also covers such areas of assistance as restoration of houses and provision of households with heating equipment.
