The charity organization ADRA Ukraine provided financial assistance in the amount of 20,000 UAH to the family of Zemlyani (family’s Last Name), that are internaly displaced family whose housing in the city of Irpin (Kyiv region) was completely destroyed at the beginning of the full-scale war — in February 2022. Currently, the family is forced to rent housing. The funds collected through the ADRA Ukraine website as donations were directed to the purchase of the necessary glasses for Valentina and her daughter Karina, as well as to the purchase of products.

For Valentina (she is a person with a disability since childhood, group II in health of vision), it was possible to order special lenses of high optical power — +16.0 and +14.0 diopters, which she should wear constantly. Her husband Valentin admits that the help came just when it was most necessary:

«Her vision deteriorated sharply, it used to be +13. Your help in buying glasses came very timely», — says Valentin.

During the medical examination, doctors also discovered serious myopia in Karina’s daughter, who is in the sixth grade and has the status of a child who suffered as a result of hostilities and armed conflicts. Special glasses worth more than 3,000 UAH were ordered for the girl. The family also acquired the necessary vision support drugs — «Vis Glick Neo», «Gilais Amino» and «SlezaVit».

«Thank you to your foundation, all believers and caring people involved in this assistance. It is really important for us and with God’s help it became possible», — adds Valentina’s husband.
