ADRA Ukraine psychologists have started a new series of meetings for Bucha residents who have lost their loved ones and survived the occupation
On June 26, within ADRA Ukraine project on psychological assistance, a team of psychologists from the charitable organization started one more area of psychosocial support – a series of meetings for Bucha residents at the Volunteer Center “Portal Bucha”. The topic of the first meeting was how to deal with emotions during the war. The event was attended by 40 people. Most of them are Bucha residents who have lost loved ones, survived the occupation and faced other difficulties as a result of the war in the country.
“For two hours we have been able to make participants forget about their problems and present our smiles to them. Psychologists have provided practices and techniques to stabilize emotional state that everyone will be able to use independently in the future, “- says, Ievheniia, a Project Coordinator.
The next meeting will take place next Sunday at 11 a.m. in the Volunteer Center “Portal Bucha” at the address: Bucha, Enerhetykiv Str., 2.
