ADRA Ukraine summarized achievements of the education component at the annual meeting of the educational cluster in Kyiv

On December 9, Kyiv hosted the annual meeting of the educational cluster, which includes UN agencies, non-governmental organizations, volunteer groups and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. At this event, ADRA Ukraine presented its achievements for 2024, plans for the future and its mission of supporting education. Educational projects of the charitable organization were presented by ADRA Ukraine specialist Yana Reznikova together with project manager Marina Tekuchova.

In 2024, thanks to educational projects, ADRA Ukraine provided MHPSS assistance (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) in Ukrainian educational institutions for 2 101 adults and 7 240 children. Access to education has also been restored through the restoration of premises and the arrangement of shelters in 9 educational institutions.

ADRA Ukraine’s strategic goals and plans for 2025-2027 in the field of education include:
– creation of ADRA educational centers;
– introduction of career guidance programs for graduates;
– restoring access to quality training;
– opening of centers for catching up educational losses;
– support for children with special educational needs (SEN);
– providing psychosocial assistance to students, parents and teachers.

ADRA Ukraine continues to be an important partner in the restoration and development of the educational system of Ukraine. Among the donors of educational projects are the German school Marienhöhe Schulzentrum, the Ministry of Justice of the Faroe Islands, ADRA Denmark, ADRA Sweden, ADRA Australia, the Danish charitable organization DanChurchAid, Danish International Development Agency DANIDA, the Association of Humanitarian Agencies of Germany Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
