Every day, ADRA Ukraine team provides assistance in several areas, namely: evacuation, food, financial and information support.

This week the residents of Velyka Novosilka village of Donetsk region have been evacuated. The evacuees include children, the elderly and people with disabilities. As of today, about 842 people have been evacuated to safer places, but their number is increasing every day.

Humanitarian aid has been loaded and transferred from one of ADRA Ukraine warehouses to 4 hubs in Zakarpattia, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. In total, assistance has been provided to 793 people in 4 settlements during the week.

In the framework of the Project “Hope for Ukraine”, with the support of “Nadiya” TV channel, food has been delivered by bus to Chernihiv and Chernihiv region, it has been packaged and distributed to those in need. Chicken, cereals and vegetables have been put in more than 100 packages. Families with young children have been provided with diapers and baby food.

Also, thanks to the project, packages with products and hygiene means have been delivered to the territory of Poltava region. Volunteers have visited more than 10 villages, where they have provided assistance to 150 people.
