Assistance from ADRA Ukraine in cooperation with the UN World Food Program (WFP UN) continues being provided in more than eight regions of Ukraine
Food assistance is one of the large-scale areas of ADRA Ukraine activities. Thanks to this kind of assistance, food assistance for the affected population has been provided within the framework of the project in cooperation with the UN World Food Program for more than five months.
Since April, ADRA Ukraine team has been distributing assistance in the form of food kits for various purposes, bread, and food certificates.
As of today, the distribution of food kits for various purposes continues being conducted in eight regions: Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia. At the moment, the distribution of fresh bread extends to five regions: Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.
During the entire period of the implementation of the project, the assistance has been provided in 12 regions of Ukraine and reached the following levels: 1,054,958 food kits, about 10,171,000 loaves of bread and food certificates for a total amount of UAH 69,368,500 have been distributed.
