Cash for animal feed: ADRA Ukraine visited the Barvinkivska community to assess the impact of the project
On April 7, the ADRA Ukraine team, within the framework of the «Livelihood» project, implemented with the support of ADRA International, made a monitoring visit to the Kharkiv region, in particular to the Barvinkivska community. The visit took place under the leadership of the project manager.
During the visit, specialists visited households that received financial assistance in the amount of 14,700 UAH for the purchase of animal feed. The purpose of the monitoring was to assess the effectiveness of the support provided and also to ascertain exactly how the aid affected the improvement of the living and farming conditions of the recipients.
Beneficiaries shared their experience of using the funds received and noted the importance of such support in the face of constant challenges. Thanks to the project, families were able to provide their animals with the necessary feed, which is critically important for preserving sources of income and food security.
Monitoring visits are an important component of project implementation, because they allow not only to evaluate the results, but also to take into account the needs of communities for further improvement of support programs.
