Children from a front-line settlement attended New Year’s holiday thanks to transport assistance from ADRA Ukraine
The settlement of Marianske of Dnipropetrovsk region is located on the border with Kherson region. Until recently, it was located on the demarcation line and suffered from heavy shelling and significant infrastructure destruction.
Thanks to the transport assistance from ADRA Ukraine, provided at the request of the head of Zelenodolska community, children of Marianske together with their companions got to the festive event. Thus, they got the opportunity to forget about the shelling and immerse themselves in New Year’s atmosphere, at least for a short time.
Assistance is provided within the framework of Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection (LEAP) project with the support of the Canadian government. This project began its activities in June 2022 and covers such areas as financial assistance, transport assistance (in particular, evacuation) and psychological support for the affected and vulnerable population groups.
