Children rested and improved their health in camps in Zakarpattia region thanks to ADRA Ukraine
The project of psychological support for children of vulnerable categories with the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as the representative offices of ADRA in Spain, Australia and Denmark, is successfully coming to an end. The main goal of the project was to improve the health of children who are children of IDPs and local children of vulnerable categories in two camps for kids in Zakarpattia region. Thanks to the cooperation of the local authorities and the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine, 364 children have received assistance in “Natalia” camp in Rakhovskyi district and “Ekoland” camp in Mukachevo district.
Children rested in comfortable conditions, received psychological and educational support from professional teachers and positive impressions from entertainment events. The project was implemented in two stages: during the first stage, 220 children received assistance in two camps, during the second stage, 144 children received assistance (this project will end on September 6-7).
