Children who lost their parents during the war attended master classes of a charity project
On January 26, at the Ukrainian Institute of Arts and Sciences (located in Bucha city of Kyiv region), as well as in the premises of SDA churches in the cities of Irpin and Dubno, a regular meeting was held as part of the “Children of Heroes” project focused at supporting and developing children who lost their parents due to the war. On this day, about a hundred children in three cities attended an educational and leadership project organized by the charitable foundation of the “CLAN” sports club together with ADRA Ukraine.
Such meetings take place in the format of a workshop, where children are divided into teams, each of which has a mentor-psychologist. Participants learn to interact with each other, perform team tasks and attend master classes in art therapy, English language, music, leadership, etc.
The task of the project is to give children basic skills that will help them to be realized in life, to find and develop individual talents of the participants.
