Concern for emotional health became the topic of the spring meeting in Khmelnitskyi city
On April 27, a spring holiday was held in the city of Khmelnitskyi, organized by the local community No. 2 of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for children and adults, including IDPs and residents of the city. The event was joined by specialists of the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine – psychologist Olena Nynyk and facilitator Julia Bufetchikova. They conducted a series of activities aimed at psychological support of participants within the “SMHUF” project with the support of ADRA Sweden and the “Radiohjälpen” charitable organization.
In a cozy atmosphere, over a cup of fragrant tea and homemade goodies, the participants talked, enjoyed poetic and musical performances.
During the event, the hosts made a special emphasis on maintaining emotional well-being. The psychologist conducted an art therapy exercise “I am a tree,” which helped participants to better understand their own emotions and internal resources. Exercises were also organized for emotional unloading using metaphorical maps – this contributed to self-reflection and internal stabilization. Those interested joined the creative session on drawing coffee and performed exercises to improve the emotional state.
The event was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, giving the participants a sense of support, positive emotions and sincere memories.
