Critical institutions in Kharkiv region will work stable thanks to new generators
In the period from March 21 to March 24, the charitable organization ADRA Ukraine transferred ten generators of various capacities to several communities of the Kharkiv region. This was made possible thanks to the support of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as part of a joint project to power important social facilities in the region.
The generators delivered to the following settlements:
– Nova Vodolaga – two powerful generators (30 kW) for the local economy department.
– Savintsy – two generators (30 kW) for a protection center and a humanitarian hub.
– Dobrovilya, Krishtopivka, Samiylivka (Bliznyukivska village council) – one generator (100 kW) for each village for the needs of education, culture, youth and sports.
– Mala Rogan and Kutuzivka (Vilkhivska village council) – one generator (100 kW).
– Merefa – one generator (100 kW) for the local education department.
These institutions are real support for communities: there are administrative centers, humanitarian hubs, protection centers, where internally displaced persons and vulnerable residents of the region receive daily assistance. Thanks to the new equipment, institutions will be able to work stable even in conditions of power outages, which is critically important in times of war.
